The Rossendale Trust provides Supported Living care to adults with learning and physical disabilities, in purpose built apartments in Sutton and Macclesfield, and houses in Buxton. We aim to create an environment where everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential. We follow a model of care known as Supported Living. Supported Living enables each person to explore the choices in their own lives. We support all of our tenants to achieve their potential, whatever their level of ability. The Trust delivers a person-centred service, putting our tenants at the centre of everything which we do. We care for people as individuals, working to improve the quality of their lives by creating an environment in which they can develop at their own pace. Our tenants are people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities. Some people are able to go to college, attend supported employment placements or work as volunteers. People with more complex needs may require 24 hour care and support with every part of their daily lives.
