Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care for people with specific life-limiting illness living within the catchment area of North East Wales and the border areas. They have been at the heart of the community for over 20 years caring for patients and supporting their families.
It is a Hospice full of life and full of hope. As Sally, one of our patients, said “The Hospice is not somewhere to die; it is a place where you can live, albeit differently to what life may have been like prior to being ill, but it makes me feel worthwhile, useful and not a burden. That is something very special”.
It costs £7,700 per day to run all of our services. Donations and support from the community help us to make Sally’s words a continuing reality
